This week: New skylines, Christmas lights and the Autumn sale.
19th November 2021
Welcome to this weeks Friday 5. The Christmas lights switch on in Winchester took me away from my desk. As did the opening of the Christmas market plus a birthday, a wedding, a goodbye party and an anniversary. If ever there was a week to be out of the office it’s this week, and I’m actually on a few days leave as I type. It’s traditionally a quiet week in the studio as it’s the gap between Christmas prep and Christmas peak. Leave to me means long walks, catching up with friends, lots of good food, good wine and maybe an exhibition or two. It’s a restful few days because next week I’ll be at capacity and joyfully fulfilling orders, I can’t wait.
You’ll probably know it’s Black Friday next week, this is one of the first years I’m embracing it. If you haven’t caught the sale I’ve got a lot of art prints I’m selling off, plus baubles, books and other bits launching in time for next weekend. The sale is letting go of samples, end of print runs, one offs and discontinued products, it’s time to clear some space in the stock room. Here’s the link to my sale page.
Well, enough chatter, I’m off to Surrey for a party later and wanted to post this before leaving. Introducing the new destination prints. I’ve got eight new pieces in all; Liverpool, Dublin, Singapore, Newcastle, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham and Derby.
You can view all my skyline products on my website if you click here. They’ll also be live on Etsy and NOTHS over the next week.

My skylines are very intricate, the listings have the drawings in lots more detail, you can really see all the elements clearly and see how the compositions work together. Each skyline is available in different sizes, from small to huge and with or without the place name. My customers build the skyline illustrations into a gallery wall to tell a story, I’ve lots of requests for personalisation on these and it’s something I should officially launch soon. Another thing for the list!
Have a good week. Thanks for reading.
See you on Black Friday.
